Nodules that develop on the body, similar to warts or small dots on the legs, that appear spontaneously and often go away without treatment, are papillomas.

The causative agent - human papillomavirus (English word - Human Papillomavirus) - enters the body from the outside, spreading abnormally: up to 80% of the world's population are carriers!

Such a high rate is due to the fact that infection occurs through tactile contact, which makes it virtually impossible to prevent transmission of the virus.

Not all carriers take the disease seriously and go to the doctor, so the removal of papillomas at home is always focused.

The nature of papillomavirus

The insidious virus can be anywhere: on the neck, armpits, under the breasts, eyelids, abdomen, and genitals. In most cases, it is a benign formation. If the virus enters the cell chromosome and integrates into the cell nucleus, it becomes malignant.

Before starting treatment, you should consult a doctor to find out the nature of the virus, and then choose an acceptable method.

Who is at risk?

Modern man is obsessed with chronic stress, illness and bad habits. In such difficult conditions, the immune system does not function, the gates open wide for various infections, and the papilloma virus is ready to attack. The main prerequisites for increased virus activity:

  • severe stress;
  • pregnancy;
  • Severe illness;
  • long-term drug use;
  • advanced age;
  • nutritional disorders;
  • bad habits: smoking, alcohol;
  • high sexual activity without protection.

If at least one of the signs is present, it is likely an exacerbation of papillomavirus and the appearance of unwanted skin growths.

Pathways of infection

Anyone can get the virus. But there are factors that make it almost impossible to avoid infection:

  • transmission of the virus from mother to infant;
  • unprotected sex with a carrier;
  • tactile contact with the patient;
  • when sharing household utensils;
  • swimming pool tour;
  • entry of the virus through wounds on the skin.

The person carrying the papillomavirus can live peacefully for many years and no doubt in its presence, enlightenment usually occurs when the immune system is weakened. The virus then, dormant in the basal layer of the epithelium, escapes to the surface and takes the form of genital warts or flattened plaques. Living with papillomas is uncomfortable and unsightly.

The most effective treatment is excision. You can not just cut off the legs of the papillomas or try to amputate them, you can stimulate the active growth and reproduction of the tumors, which develop into a malignant form.

At the first sign of infection, see a dermatologist or try alternative treatments.

Superstitions to help

The ancient semi-occult methods of removing papillomas have survived to this day. The most curious of them all:

  1. Tie a knot with silk thread, attach the string to the cut potato, and hide it where no one can find it. After a while, the tubers will rot, and the papillae will also disappear!
  2. Use a potato cut in half to rub the growths: first with half, then with the other half. Put the halves together, put them in a dark place and try to forget. The skins will peel off once the potatoes are cooked.
  3. The most romantic way is the light side of the moon. Under the light of the waning moon in the late evening, rub the papilloma on the moonlit surface, and the papilloma will disappear.

Thus, at first glance, the unusual healing methods practiced by traditional healers, and they yielded positive effects, were corrected by repeated repetition.

Today, papillomavirus carriers have access to many medical treatments with the help of tinctures, decoctions and juices of medicinal herbs. When choosing any method, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
